Growing Up
So today I walked downstairs from my bedroom, wearing the outfit below with no makeup on. My dad was talking to mom in the kitchen, once he saw his little girl, he freaked out. His little girl was growing up and is actually looking like a girl! Who would have thought that. I think my father needs to learn that this outfit will not be the last of his little girl growing up.

Homecoming Dance
DD was asked to the homecoming dance. This is a biggy. This is the first date / dance, she will go on. We have one week to find a dress. It is a semi-formal. She is aiming towards:

I think something like this may be a better choice.

Or this one, which comes in a beautiful Lagoon (blue) color:
It is frightening how quickly they grow up. She will be beautiful. I hope that she has a good time.

Pink's New Hat
I have got to show you what DD thought was worth $15.00 at the fair this weekend.

I’m sure she will be depressed to find that I found it online for less than $10.00. I must tell you though that this is a very Pink thing. ever hit the airways) How this nickname became even I don’t know, but why do parents nickname their kids anything. So given her name (and her attitude), this hat is perfect for her. I’ll try to get a picture of her in it for you to see.

Pink Bunny Pajamas
Two nights and two days at the beach and DD was either in her bathing suit or her pink bunny pajama bottoms. She even went out on the beach in them. This is definately my DD who used to ask me to paint each nail a different color.
My own little Pipi Longstocking.
