As a small kid, I remember Sunday was always church, you always went to church, nothing would make church an conflict, because it just wouldn't be right, but now 10 years later everything happens during church or shortly after church. Yes I realize everyone is not Christian, but think of how many there are, think of how many children you are pulling away from learning about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. The number would be countless, we had good friends who did football in the old town, want to know when their games where? Yes, you are correct on Sunday mornings. The issue was that these good friends were very religious, and they also believe you put 110% into what you're doing, so their boys were always at their games, and they would show up at church after (if there was time). Now with a foster child, he does basketball. I have to say I applaud to the coaches for not making the games right during church service, but the one today it at 12:30, it's a 45 minute drive from our church to the game, and our church ends at 11:30, and I have a volunteer job.
Sunday's are no longer church, early dinner with family, then praying. It's running around, busy schedules, sometimes even missing church, stopping at a McDonald's for dinner, and going straight to bed once you get home.
So I'll ask once again.
What Happened to Sunday?
